LEARNING & BUSINESS CENTERS

Teaching and Learning

At Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ, we are committed not only to awarding degrees but also to equipping our students with the skills necessary to apply their knowledge effectively in their careers. This approach ensures that, as students move between roles or sectors, they can transfer and adapt these skills to new contexts. This commitment forms a key pillar of the University’s Strategic Plan and relies fundamentally on the nature and quality of our teaching.

To achieve this, our teaching practices are aligned with the most progressive international developments in education. We aim to make teaching a core component of the Student Experience emphasising communicative, project-based, and student-centred methods that foster engagement, adaptability, and real-world competence.

Teaching & Learning Strategy

The delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes is the core activity of the University, and it is guided by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ Teaching and Learning Strategy.

The strategic objective for Teaching and Learning is:

To provide a high-quality, British-style, research-led learning experience that attracts students of outstanding potential and equips them with the capacity to pursue higher education and research, as well as the transferable skills and knowledge required by employers or to become creators of new ventures.

Achieving this strategic objective involves:

- Attracting high-calibre students and research-active academic staff capable of delivering UK higher education in accordance with the British ethos and standards.

- Developing effective, communicative, and innovative teaching, and providing an academic, pastoral, and social learning environment that encourages students to become independent learners and achieve their full academic potential.

- Offering a portfolio of degree programmes that equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for graduate employability, aligned with regional and international demands and compliant with the requirements of UK university validation.

- Creating a high-quality student learning experience through Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ’s UK-style library and IT infrastructure, supported by the implementation of dedicated Library, IT, and eLearning strategies, along with comprehensive learner support. This is underpinned by effective estates management, human resources, and financial planning.
