LEARNING & BUSINESS CENTERS
Faculty Community Service Objectives & Actions
Strategic Objective
The Faculty aims to establish itself as a leading provider of professional development in Egypt, serving both the general public and the stakeholder community. This will be achieved by offering a wide range of services that address the needs and interests of the local and regional communities, while making effective use of the Faculty’s expertise and resources.
Strategic Actions
The Faculty will offer its existing portfolio of activities and will seek to consolidate and expand it through knowledge transfer, enterprise education, and competency-based training services.
Knowledge Transfer
It will attempt to promote the University's image by:
- Developing a marketing plan to promote the courses and, particularly, the new services being provided to meet the needs of the community.
- Offering tailored courses to meet the needs of the Community.
Enterprise Education
As part of its mission to equip students with employability skills, the Faculty will explore opportunities to introduce courses in enterprise development and new venture creation for undergraduates, post-experience students, and community members. This initiative will empower participants to establish their own ventures upon graduation.
Competency-Based Training Services
High-performance organisations recognise that their success relies heavily on the capabilities of their people. This is where competency-based training plays a vital role. Such training is developed using a competency map tailored to each specific job role within the organisation.
Our proposed plan is to design and deliver customised training programmes aimed at achieving clearly defined performance outcomes. These programmes are grounded in proven adult learning principles and are available in both English and Arabic. They can be delivered in a variety of formats to suit different organisational needs.
