In 2004, with strong support from the British Embassy and the British Council, a Presidential Decree was issued establishing Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬. Construction of the initial phase of the University campus commenced shortly thereafter, and the first cohort of undergraduate students was welcomed in September 2005. The University is situated on a spacious, purpose-built campus on the outskirts of Cairo, featuring modern, well-equipped facilities that support the delivery of high-quality academic programmes.
The total area of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ is 165,598 m² (approximately 40 acres), with over 17 buildings constructed on 17% of the total land area.

Library Building: The Library provides training and guidance to enable students to gain the greatest benefit from its collection of print and e-resources. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ has a digital library with international journals for all academic programs and special interests. The Library also provides off-campus access to all electronic resources and the catalogue to support independent study via websites.

In addition, many academic programmes benefit from specialised facilities tailored to their disciplines. These include a stock market simulation room in the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science (BAEPS), a wind tunnel in the Faculty of Engineering, fully equipped dental laboratories for the Faculty of Dentistry, pharmaceutical laboratories, media studios for the Faculty of Mass Communication, and clinical examination rooms for the Faculty of Nursing.
The campus is also designed with accessibility in mind. Disabled access is available throughout both indoor and outdoor areas, with ramps and restrooms strategically positioned to ensure ease of access. The most recent upgrades included the installation of ramps around the food court area.

The university has a compound for International and National Staff members with a capacity of 96 units between duplexes, flats, and studios.
