The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Egypt (NAQAAE) is the formal regulatory authority for accreditation in Egypt under the supervision of His Excellency the Egyptian Prime Minister. NAQAAE accreditation acknowledges the faculty/programme's institutional and educational capabilities along with achieving the national academic and educational quality standards. It is considered to provide a competitive edge as it assures the excellence of the campus and the learning process.
The Supreme Council of Universities is the only designated official entity in Egypt for the recognition and equivalence of academic qualifications and degrees awarded by universities and institutes that are not subjected to Universities Law No. 49 dated 1972 or foreign Higher educational institutes.

The Faculty has five departments: Architectural Engineering - Chemical Engineering - Civil Engineering - Electrical Engineering - Mechanical Engineering that offer eight programs validated by our UK academic partner, London South Bank University. Moreover, the faculty of Engineering offers some postgraduate degrees specifically, Master of Science and Master of Engineering in the following fields: Renewable Energy Engineering - Advanced Materials Science and Engineering -Sustainable Engineering Design and Construction - Communications and Information Engineering.
