The Supreme Council of Universities is the only designated official entity in Egypt for the recognition and equivalence of academic qualifications and degrees awarded by universities and institutes that are not subjected to Universities Law No. 49 dated 1972 or foreign Higher educational institutes.
The Faculty comprises three undergraduate programmes:
1. The Department of Basic and Applied Psychology, validated by London South Bank University;
2. The Department of English Language and Literature (which offers three career oriented specialisations: Linguistics, Literature and Translation), validated by London South Bank University;
3. The Department of Chinese Language and Culture.
The Faculty of Arts & Humanities has three unique postgraduate programmes:
1. Clinical Psychology MSc Programme helps students explore up-to-date techniques and state-of-the-art developments by building upon the foundational underpinnings of clinical psychology and counselling. The MSc programme is validated by London South Bank University
2. Comparative Literary & Cultural Studies MA programme that is characterised by inter-disciplinary, innovative fields that provide opportunities for up-to-date, market relevant research areas, as well as career opportunities.
3. The Linguistics and Translation MA programme is designed to expose students to up-to-date research techniques and state-of-the-art developments in both fields, by building upon the foundational underpinnings of applied linguistics in addition to written as well as oral translation.
