Summer School Internship
Our Engineering Students Visit Liverpool
In the course of their Summer School internship, our Engineering students visited the University of Liverpool as well as the Stephenson Institute for Renewable Energy. A number of sessions and laboratory tours were conducted to provide them with an understanding of energy generation, storage, and transmission.
Furthermore, students received extensive training in battery chemistry, solar cells, heat storage, and surface analysis. This experience enabled them to get a better insight into the energy sector and gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies. They also had the opportunity to interact with industry experts and learn about the latest research and development in the field.
In collaboration with the University of Lincoln, this summer school is part of the British Council's "Going Global Partnerships" initiative that began in January 2022.
