Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ Signs MOU with Egyptian National Competitiveness Council
Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Egyptian National Competitiveness Council (ENCC) to foster academic, scientific, and cultural collaboration. This agreement brings together the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics, and Political Science at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ with ENCC’s expertise in competitiveness, aiming to drive impactful research and policy reforms.
In alignment with our University’s strategy of "teaching by doing" and its commitment to providing top-tier education, this partnership offers students and faculty the opportunity to engage directly with real-world economic challenges. The MOU aims to bridge the gap between academia and practice by fostering hands-on research and policy-driven projects, ensuring that students gain practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge.
The agreement outlines several key initiatives, including joint research activities that will pool resources and expertise to address pressing economic challenges. These research collaborations are expected to produce policy documents that contribute to the national policy dialogue and provide solutions to complex economic issues facing Egypt today. Additionally, the partnership will focus on joint advocacy efforts, guiding Egyptian policymakers in designing strategies to boost the nation’s competitiveness.
Both institutions will exchange information and expertise in areas of mutual interest while adhering to governing regulations and data privacy rules. A further highlight of the agreement is the planned exchange of academic and technical personnel for lectures, symposiums, and collaborative discussions, enriching the experiences of both parties and fostering greater innovation.
Professor Yehia Bahei-El-Din, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice President for Research and Enterprise at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬, and Mr. Seif Allah Fahmy, Chairman and Founding Member of ENCC, signed the agreement, marking a new chapter of collaboration aimed at enhancing Egypt’s economic and academic landscape.
