In honour of March as the month of women's empowerment, the Contemporary Issues in Leadership Module, in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Political Science, and The Enterprise and Community Service ECSC committee at the Faculty of BAEPS, organized a highly fruitful session. This special event delved deeply into the topic of women's empowerment and explored the international networking benefits, emphasizing the distinctive roles of both men and women in the labour market. Featuring Mrs. Dalia El Batal, Senior Economist and Development Consultant, who was recognized as an Iconic Woman Creating a Better World for All by the Women Economic Forum 2020, Mrs. El Batal brings a wealth of experience from her tenure as a Program Head in the Division of Higher Education at UNESCO, Paris. Moderated by Dr. Zeinab Younis, the session fostered engaging discussions and student participation. Attendees had the opportunity to pose their questions and engage in promising networking opportunities with esteemed guests. The event was honoured by the presence of distinguished figures including our President and Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohamed Loutfi, Dean of the Faculty of BAEPS, Prof. Wadouda Badran, Vice Dean for Enterprise and Community Service and Head of the Department of Political Science, Prof. Amany Khodair, and Head of the Department of Business Administration, Dr. Mohamed Rashwan.
