Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ (Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬) is proud to announce that its President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohamed Loutfi, has been made a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) as part of The King’s Birthday 2025 Overseas and International Honours List.
This prestigious honour was awarded in recognition of President Loutfi’s outstanding contributions to education in both the United Kingdom and Egypt, highlighting his leadership in promoting international collaboration, soft diplomacy through education, and shaping the global education landscape.
The King's Honours List, published annually, recognises individuals who have made exceptional achievements and service to the UK and beyond. President Loutfi’s name appears among a select group of international honourees celebrated for their impact overseas.

President Loutfi has spent over three decades serving the Higher Education sector across continents. His career spans numerous leadership roles in British universities, consistently working to expand access, equity, and excellence in learning. His vision at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ continues to reinforce the university’s dual mission as a British-style institution deeply rooted in Egyptian society and dedicated to global engagement.
