Recognised for Excellence in Extracurricular Activities and Securing First Place in the Fifth Sector
The Faculty of Nursing at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its students, who were recently honoured at the prestigious Oscars Event. This ceremony recognises excellence across the University’s faculties, highlighting students’ dedication, talents, and contributions beyond their academic studies.
Our nursing students Mohamed Yasser, Amir Emad, and Abdelrahman Hany received the Shield of Honour at the 2025 Oscars Event in recognition of their exceptional extracurricular engagement, particularly their remarkable participation in the University’s football team. Their dedication and teamwork were instrumental in securing the First Place Title in the Fifth Sector Universities Championship.
The championship was a true showcase of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ team’s talent and determination across every stage. In the quarter-finals, they overcame the Egyptian Russian University, before securing a decisive victory against the German University in Cairo in the semi-finals. Their journey culminated in a thrilling final hosted at the American University in Cairo (AUC), where the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ team triumphed in a spectacular win, proudly bringing home the championship trophy.
This achievement not only highlights the sporting excellence of our students but also reflects the values of teamwork, resilience, and leadership that the Faculty of Nursing is committed to nurturing. We extend our warmest congratulations to our students for this remarkable recognition and for representing both the Faculty and the University with such distinction.
