Political Science Conference Model IV

PSCM-IV

The Fourth Political Science Conference Model (PSCM IV), held by the Department of Political Science on March 5th, 2024, was a platform for undergraduate researchers to shine. This annual student-led conference, organized by the Department of Political Science at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ, fosters academic exploration and provides valuable real-world experience for students pursuing careers in political science. The PSCM gives the students an exceptional chance to present their research, discuss their ideas with academic experts, and publish their research papers.

This year’s theme was ‘Contemporary Discussions on Global Crises and Transformations’. The opening ceremony featured keynote speeches by Prof. Wadouda Badran, the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science, Prof. Amany Khodair, the Head of the Department of Political Science, the link tutor from London South Bank University, Dr. Alex Prior, and BAEPS Visiting Professor, Dr. Afarin Shahidzadeh.

Following the ceremony, attendees engaged in parallel sessions held simultaneously in the Simulation Hall and Dynamic Room. Research papers explored a diverse range of topics ranging from shifts in global politics, climate, migration, and terrorism to trends in identity and media.

PSCM IV embraced inclusivity, welcoming student participation from London South Bank University, Suez University, and various departments within Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ.
