Our Student Study Abroad Programmes at LSBU are Underway
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ is thrilled to announce that the summer school exchange programmes have begun! With our UK academic partner, London South Bank University (LSBU), students from several of our faculties have taken the leap and boarded their flights to the heart of London.
Students from the Faculty of Communication and Mass Media, the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Political Science, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities have been exploring the streets of London since 26th June. They have had the opportunity to tour the LSBU campus, attend a variety of different classes and workshops, and embody LSBU’s motto to rise to your potential during the summer school programme. These sessions have helped nurture their creativity, their innovation, and their academic prowess. The exchange programme has even encouraged the students from the Faculty of Communication and Mass Media to film their experience in a series of videos called the ‘London Diaries.’
Moreover, our students had the once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the Egyptian Ambassador to the UK, H.E. Sherif Kamel, at the Egyptian embassy in London and share their thoughts and impressions on the summer exchange programme offered by our University. H.E. Ambassador Kamel also gave our students an inspiring talk about the importance of such overseas visits in refining their skills, broadening their horizons, and giving them real-life experience.
This visit was only the beginning. Our students have taken London by storm, leaving their mark on iconic London landmarks, including the London Eye, Big Ben, the British Museum, Madame Tussauds, and so many more. We cannot wait to hear all they have to say when they return from this unforgettable experience.
These summer abroad opportunities work on implementing Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ’s strategy to encourage education through practice and hands-on experience, engage in global cultural exchange, and benefit from meeting different people and seeing new places. Don’t miss out on chances like this to travel abroad and learn from dynamic cultural experiences.
